A plan only changes how much you can compress through the CLI and API. What you do on the website stays exactly the same.

Compressing images on pipic.cc is free for everyone, forever, with no account required — up to 100 images per batch, 8 MB each. Both plans below include exactly that. You only pay to use the CLI or API, for build scripts, CI, or automated pipelines.

Billing questions

Do I need to pay to compress images on the website?

No. Web compression is free for everyone, forever, and never requires an account. A plan only affects usage from the CLI and API.

What counts against my monthly quota?

Only requests made through the CLI or API. Compressing images on the website is never counted, no matter how many you process.

What happens when I run out?

The API returns a 429 error. Nothing is charged automatically and nothing silently degrades — wait for the reset or upgrade to Pro.

How do I cancel?

Open the billing portal from your account page and cancel there. Your Pro quota stays available until the end of the period you already paid for.

How does my quota reset?

On the 1st of each calendar month, UTC. Unused quota does not carry over.
