About PiPic

PiPic Image Compressor is a free online image compressor for PNG, JPEG, WebP and AVIF, with an agent-ready CLI for scripts, CI and coding agents.

One product, three ways to use it

PiPic is the product at pipic.cc. The browser compressor is the simplest way to use it: no account, up to 100 images per batch and 8 MB per file.

PiPic Agent CLI is the official command-line client, published on npm as @pipic/cli. The CLI and HTTP API use the same PiPic compression service and a separate monthly allowance.

What “smart compression” means

PiPic re-encodes each image with format-specific compression settings to reduce file size while preserving its dimensions and visual quality. “Agent-ready” describes how coding agents can call the CLI; it does not mean uploaded images are processed by an AI model.

Built around short-lived image processing

Images are processed only to produce the compressed result and are deleted immediately after compression. They are never kept as a dataset or used to train AI models.

Who maintains PiPic

PiPic is independently developed and maintained by the PiPic team. The official public identities are pipic.cc, the PiPic-cc GitHub organization and the @pipic/cli npm package.

Verify it or get in touch

The Agent CLI source and package metadata are public. For questions, feedback, media or partnerships, contact the PiPic team directly.
